Cologne (Köln), Germany

These couple of photos are the first part of those that I will be uploading from the holiday I went on over autumn break in Germany. So I was staying in Leichlingen for 3 nights and 1 day, which I really did enjoy. I really needed a getaway! This was actually a retreat with our church.

The weather over there was nice and chilly at approximately 9 to 14 C°. In Leichlingen, I mainly stayed inside the hotel, taking all the rest I needed (re: chilling, eating, internetting). But besides that I liked walking around the woods as well. Despite the beautiful scenery, I enjoyed the place we stayed at, and the free time we got at night which was mainly spent in the bistro or in the main hall - because that was the only space with wifi. It was merely 3x3 metres. No jokes. If you follow me on instagram you'd probably noticed it lacked pictures of Germany, well, now you know why. I didn't take any good pictures of Leichlingen - which explains the majority of photos in Cologne, and the title of this post!
